This free to attend course is designed to build confidence and skills of use in job related areas so that disabled people can enhance their prospects and realise their potential.  The course covers those crucial skills required by all employers!  Career planning and professional employment advice are an integral part of the course.

It is totally flexible, informal and relaxed and is designed to allow participants to develop new skills at their own pace, through sharing experiences and having fun.

The course will take clients through subjects such as personal profile building, confidence building, communication skills, job search techniques, CV writing and interview skills but will also include team working skills, work attitudes and cognitive techniques.  It will take place at Disability North in Newcastle upon Tyne, with dates to be confirmed.

The course is free to attend and all associated costs with attending the programme, (i.e. meals and travel) are covered within the programme and it does not affect any existing benefits.

For more information contact Andrew Wildish who is the Course Tutor on Telephone 0191 386 2634 Ext. 261 or email at Andrew.wildish@finchalecollege.co.uk
