Have you heard about STREET ANGELS?

Street Angels is a highly successful faith-based initiative founded by Paul Blakey.  Paul was recently awarded the MBE in the 2010 New Year’s Honours List for ‘Services to Community Safety in Halifax’.

The Street Angels project involves teams of volunteers patrolling the streets late at night, demonstrating God’s love and care in practical ways and ensuring the safety of those in town centres.  See YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdwp5udl_Dg

If you would like to hear more from Paul Blakey about the work of Street Angels, then come along to the Durham Open Summer School on: TUESDAY 13th JULY.

Other exciting seminars, workshops and a bible study will be available throughout the day and Rev Steve Chalk MBE will speak on SOCIAL AND PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION at both the morning and evening services.

Full day cost is only £90 (9.00 am—9.30 pm including lunch and evening meal).
